Welcome to the Farm!
Welcome to Hilltop Heritage Farm! We are a homesteading, homeschooling family of 8. We moved here in July of '08. We are slowly adding different animals and vegetables. We currently have 7 Nigerian Dwarf goats. Hopefully we will have some babies in the spring! We have 33 chickens - Ameraucanas, Jersey Giants, Cinnamon Queens, and one California White. The ducks are my favorite. We started with 2 Swedish, Mr. Duck and Mrs. Duck. Now we have 25. We added to the Swedish, Rouens, Khaki Campbells, Muskovies, Pekins, and one Runner. 13 Guineas also live here. We got those to eat the ticks. There are 4 kitties in the barn to chase the mice, and 2 kitties in the house. And last but not least, a dog who is part Lab, part German Shorthaired Pointer.
Our goal is to raise as much of our own food as possible. We sell chicken eggs and duck eggs. If my does really are pregnant, we will be selling some goats in the spring. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
